Lord, Let It Be Her

by Royverine

Your will, not mine
Yet humbly
Before You, I stand
Fervently praying
With the purest intentions
And an honest heart

Lord, let it be her
The one who’ll hold my hands
 Fill my heart with love
Until the end of my life

But if it can’t be
Then hear my plea
Let my heart be frozen
And my eyes be blind
Numb my emotions
‘til the end of time
Cause I will care no more
For tomorrow to come
